Pippin is a darling 4 year old Shetland/Arab
pony. He's been trained to drive both single and double. He's
spent over 100 hours in harness hitched to a cart, approaching 30 driving
hours as a team. Pippin has been ridden, but not a lot (we don't have
small children to ride him). He's 11.3 hands tall. Great feet,
healthy and a wonderful worker.
Pippin has recently been taking to an
Arena Driving Trial where he and his (mismatched) buddy came home with a
second place. This was his first competition, his first work in an
arena and his first exposure to working around other horses. He did
great.
Pippin has been taken on our cross
country driving trails where he did great.
Pippin does not kick or rear. He's
a sweet, good natured little fellow who understands his job. He's a
willing worker.
Pippin is a great choice for a person new
to driving since he understands his job well. He'd be a great family
addition since he can be ridden by children (although somebody will need to
spend some time with him developing these skills).
Pippin comes with his harness
(custom-made for him). The harness can be used either single or team.
